Good Friends, Good Times

Miguel and I love our friends and aquaintances and really...we love all people. We particularly are fond of the following folks...Deanna and Christian Munoz and The Perez.

Deanna and Christian have decided to move from the gold rush, sunny state that is California to Utah. They just purchased their first home and we are so happy and excited for them. We wish them all the best and thank them for all the good times! Ya'll are the best!!

The Perez are the sweetest folks ever, we feel so privileged to be their friends. Eric has been in Peru and was not able to be here for Sarah's Birthday. So we went over to their place for a mini celebration. While the cat's away, the mice will play.

Someone once told my husband that he reminds them of the MONK. My husband thought "no way", but I DO think he resembles the MONKa bit. You be the judge - see pics

It's a New Day!!

So on the strong counsel of a friend, I've decided to update our family blog over a year after it was created. I'm not going to focus on the past, and on what was not done. Instead I want to focus on the future and what CAN be done.

Today is a NEW DAY! New Year, New President and a fresh outlook on life. I really want to focus on being a better neighbor, President Hinckley counseled us to be better neighbors....and to show respect and charity towards others no matter what their beliefs are. This is my mission.

Above you'll notice our handsome little prince. Truly the love of my life. Lot's has happend since you last saw his pictures below. Benjamin brings me the most incredible challenges and most rewarding blessings, words cannot describe the love I have for him.

Baby's First Christmas

Christmas with Priscilla's family and little Benjamin was great fun! Ben is so smiley now!! He is finally sleeping better at night... (He's only up about twice instead of every 2 hours)

After the Ipina family left we visited the Lipman family and played games and exchanged gifts... One gift Joseph gave Ben was his first cold...:(

After a valiant labor from his mother and failed inductions nearly 8 pound Ben came into the world by cesearan section.

It was such a relief to finally have our little man here safe and sound.
He has already changed our lives in so many ways... We love being a family.

Making a House a Home

We finally purchased a cute little house in June 2005. It needed a lot of work, but with patience and help from Manuel and friends it is really transforming into a cozy little place to start a family!! We love having Priscilla's Parents come spend the weekend with us. Slowly, but surely we are finishing all the projects around the house and yard.

Miguel and Priscilla were married in the Oakland Temple August 21, 2004
